Poetic Monday - Rainstorm

Picture
Rainstorm

A billion drops of liquids
Tap dancing on the pavement
Flowing towards the gutter lanes
And washing away the worlds pain
Some clouds are darker than others
Some bigger than most
The sun is undercover
Just sailing galactic boats
Little humans playing in their rain boots
Little animals biting at the sky
Flowers and cultivation
Trying to breath, just to get dry
Fireplaces are burning fiercely
Hot chocolate on the stove
Big humans cuddle up
Expressing their love, forever grown.
Some voices voice their disgust
All wet from the day
Others speak happiness
of the sky's beautiful shade of grey
The storm is getting lighter
The days a bit brighter
Higher in a joyful stable
Ceased rain has left a rainbow

R.I.P. Daddy Pooh 4/19/12

Grandfather wasn’t your preference
From the gray hairs struggling to reach its black roots
Age couldn’t define your eternal youth
You are my
Daddy pooh
That was your preference
You weren’t the most perfect man in the world
But is there even such a thing as perfection?
Providing unlimited love with every kiss on my cheek
Fulfilling deeds unnecessarily this is the man I will never forget
Cooking to satisfy appetites where nourishment was overdue
The epitome of jazz
Musician at heart
You gave me my first organ player
That I played faithfully until mental exhaustion overcame me
Standing over my shoulders
Showing me the ropes
Tying knots at points of contact so I wouldn’t get lost
Now I’m swimming in unanswered questions
Drowning at the thoughts of your critical condition
You can’t leave this district of hearts that need your beat
Your drums have moved me
Forever pounding through me
You introduced my soul
Broaden my horizons before I could even comprehend the value of your wealth
Easily dealt
I can’t forget those nights bowling
Casino after casino living a Nevada lifestyle
Cigarette breaks were your frequency
I always hated to see anyone smoke
But I always loved to make you smile
Many road trips to see your face
Your presence I’d feel all over me
Even if you were in the furthest room
Creaking wood cracks couldn’t silence your footsteps
Now you lay to rest from all that walking into joyous hearts
God said you needed a break
Your purpose was fulfilled
Blood running through fields of everlasting family generations
Passing on family greatness
Passion mixed with conversation
That’s how we will remember your language
Daddy pooh
I ask God to protect you like my other grandmother and Papa
That you all dance in white gowns pain free living wholeheartedly
Arched backs posture gracing every corner of heavens holy palace.
Make sure you watch down on us
Help me to make the right decisions before I get left with knife incisions
I’m happy for you.
As long as you’re happy for eternity
Daddy pooh.
I love you.
We love you.
Forever.
Amen.

Poetic Monday - Your Road to Destiny

Your Road to Destiny

Look at the world like no other has perceived.
Take the apple of your eye
Set the focus on a horizon
Where the climax is beneficial to your elevation.
Sometimes it is hard to grow
Without the proper nutrition
But if you nourish your ambition
The outcome can be so real
It seems fictitious.
Do not think a blessing cannot bless your atmosphere
If you live in fear then you are fearing the unknown
That possibility can possibly be serenity
Giving you ultimate energy
That is just right to comfort your soul.
If you push away though
How would you ever know?
The progress can be quite painful
Bringing stress and anger
Mixed with doubt seeping from your pore's
Do not reek defeat
When the battle has yet to begin
Regain your composure
Retain your pungent odor
Transform to refreshing
And recycle what you're investing
You are meant to make an impact
A purpose no one else can influence
Your whole being was uniquely created
for greatness.
Gigantic or small in stature
You will never know your pasture
If you resist the irrigation your destiny is after
So please...
Grow and sow your bountiful fruits to this Earth
There is someone out there that needs you
Someone who's path needs your direction
Just do not test it
Let the nature of its grace be unexpected
Live like you already know your essence
It will come to you when the time is essential
Yet until then...
Continue to explore your whole potential.

Poetic Monday - Survive

Survive

Islands of beauty
Yet alone on two feet
No destination
This journey is vital to inner growth
Thrown in survival mode
How will I survive?
Blueprints all around hinting towards the way
What others have done for themselves can’t keep me sane
No outline determining who makes the cut
Pure hunger burns inside me
How will I eat?
Back home there are people waiting for my victory
Some plotting on my death
Voodoo their weapon of choice
How will I rise?
I listen…
Closed eyes embracing the oceans voices
Natures sound signaling my heart
Its up to me
To survive

Introducing Poetic Monday's

I’d like to welcome you to the four walls of my intellectual property. My conscious breathes from the opportunity of saving a soul and reinventing the rules of the game. It begins with a footstep developing into an imprint ultimately becoming a fossil of your past. There are game players and game changers whichever defines you depends on your actions. If you’re not blessing your aspirations among other beings then the preservation of your perceptions will die slowly. Humble yourself and rearrange the path you walk. Life can be taken at any moment so use your time wisely.

The soul saver of the week:

“Overcome your failures by understanding your mistakes. Evolve from the lesson you have just been taught. Grow.”
-Brooke Jean

What is a soul saver?

A soul saver is a weekly dash of inspiration provided to nourish your conscious. It is vital that you incorporate some form of daily/weekly motivation to uplift the progression of your growing spirit.  I can only hope to thoroughly fulfill your nourishment.
