Adversity

You’ve stepped into quick sand
Frantically in panic for your life
The fastest seconds you can ever experience
Leaving you in delirium but did you know you can still survive?

That’s right…
Regain your composure
Control your actions you can save yourself from this fatal fashion

Look at the bigger picture through a focused mind
No one can steal your mental shine

Adversity can only bring you down if you choose to fall in your faith
No matter the unfortunate circumstances you can push through it
And start advancing

Living in a world of risk and reward the biggest risk you can pass up is not giving enough. Don’t subside your trust.

Just trust

You can be the best you in every shape, in every form.
Don’t let the quicksand take your heart and leave you torn.

I really needed to read something like this tonight big time. Feel much better, I think the quicksand metaphor is excellent, as that's how adversity can feel so overwhelming sometimes, beautiful rhymes and it flows nicely. Thanks for these comforting words.
