Poetic Monday - "Overcome"

The powerful cannot defeat the powerful but the weak can be your downfall.
When you think of power the image of a man overrides whether it be a team or individual.
So I sit and wonder...
Why aren't there teams of women so strongly banded together they can never be dismantled.
I see the drive individually but the biggest outcome resides in unity.
So I sit and wonder, why do not they wonder too?
 
Are you not inspired by the brilliance of your determination
To the matter of joining forces and being the bigger picture.
Does attitude have priority over goals and progression?
Place a chip of positivity in your fellow sisters ear,
we all need to wake up and listen.
So I sit and wonder...
 
If the time was taken to extend kindness just a mile extra than the usual
maybe the unusual will bring a change that you can get used to.
When extending a helping hand and looking to employ or connect,
why not choose the sister moving in the same direction as yourself.
 
We need collaboration. We need alignment. We need renovation.
 
We need change.
So I sit and wonder...
 
Could I conjure up a team of talented positive driven individuals
fuse the creativity and overall overcome the obstacles we strive so hard to pass by?
Could I formulate a pact of hard work and dedication of pride-less pedestrians
just ready to walk through the door of success?
 
I know men do it all the time just look at our history's roster.
So I sit and wonder...
 
Can we overcome?
